Mother Nurture Nature Ceremonies
I thought the earth
remembered me, she
took me back so tenderly, arranging
her dark skirts, her pockets
full of lichens and seeds. I slept
as never before, a stone
on the riverbed, nothing
between me and the white fire of the stars
but my thoughts, and they floated
light as moths among the branches
of the perfect trees. All night
I heard the small kingdoms breathing
around me, the insects, and the birds
who do their work in the darkness. All night
I rose and fell, as if in water, grappling
with a luminous doom. By morning
I had vanished at least a dozen times
into something better.

PORTFOLIO

Sylvie’s ceremonies struck me as intimate; she worked cooperatively and happily with us as a couple to incorporate our values and beliefs into the ceremony. She used humor to meet challenges as the big day approached. She helped is identify goals for our marriage and supported us to complete them. She used respectful wording and took a spiritual not religious approach to the service. I respected the way she modeled her joy and reverence for the occasion. - Shelly and Chris, Wedding

Recalibrates the nervous system and helps release trauma.

Practicing mindfulness/awareness in a natural setting helps us connect with our optimal health in our nervous system as well as in the bigger ecosystem of life.

Builds Identity and Connectedness

We believe nature offers us unlimited medicine to empower our own health and well-being .

I would trust her with anyone, anytime, anywhere. They are in the best of hands. Sylvie is careful, compassionate, and considerate. Sylvie celebrates the incremental successes that make therapeutic processes work for healing. Sylvie helps them find their next question and empowers them to move to next phase of development. She helps them recognize those choices that result in successful habits of mind. She is creative in her approach to healing.

Teaches communication and interpersonal skills

Sylvie has a very kinesthetic and warm sense of place with clients. She is there authentically. In turn, her clients are there for real, authentically with her. They trust her. They grow into their best selves. She shares with them the secret of trail blazing and encourages them to seek their own challenges, to improve the world around them, and to leave a legacy of sustainable practices that will protect and nourish the generations to come. She illuminates the spark that is their inner light.

Includes practical education and application of plants as our allies and steps we can take to protect and support our ecosystem.

Its a practice, waterfall hikes help.

Sylvie never approaches the situation as something huge that needs to be dealt with, with immediate concern. Instead, she has a calm and gentle mind that breaks down the situation into simple pieces. She doesn’t lose her patience and lash out, nor does she judge. When Sylvie led the Remembrance service, every one of the guests enjoyed that hour that we had because she allowed us to embrace who we are and create something amazing and celebratory out of our grief.

Sylvie helped me in many ways. If I ever felt like I wanted to quit something or give up or if I was afraid to start something being around her made me feel like I could overcome the fear that was holding me back. She is nice and funny and good to be around. I had fun and a good experience. I look forward to hanging out with her.
